Practical Project Management

The Practical Project Management (PPM) course helps project managers to apply project management best practices to their daily work.

We have selected the PMBOK® Guide (Project Management
Body of Knowledge) - edited by the Project Management Institute (PMI®) - as the basis of reference for this course and added best practices from models like CMMI®, PRINCE2® and our own hands-on experience.

In this way, PPM offers current and future project managersa truly unique set of practical information - readily available for use in real-life projects. Topics such as project baselining, risk management and earned value management are all clearly explained and put into practice by means of examples.

Participants completing this course will be able to:
  • Manage their own projects according to the principles described in the PMBOK Guide
  • Better recognise and thus avoid common pitfalls in managing projects
  • Use the practical tips and tricks of experienced project managers
Course topics:
